Explore the history of steam trains in New Jersey, build a train & engineer a trestle bridge, create train art, and more! Open to all ages, no admission fee. As an official Makers Day site, we’re also offering Girl Scouts affiliated with the Girl Scouts of Central and Southern NJ the opportunity to earn a free, fun patch for attending our event on March 10th! Albert Einstein's Surprise Birthday Party for Kids, Morven Museum, 55 Stockton St., Princeton, 609-924-8144. Renowned re-enactor Bill Agress brings Albert Einstein to "life" for children during Princeton's Annual Pi Day celebration at Morven Museum & Garden, where a "surprise" birthday party is held each year as part of Pi Day Princeton. Attendees at this year's March 10 surprise party, which starts at 10 am, will have an even greater surprise -- they will each take home an historic party favor: a cutting from Einstein's own begonias. All "little geniuses" should plan to arrive by 10:00 a.m. to meet and sing "Happy Birthday" to Einstein, enjoy a piece of birthday cake (donated by McCaffrey's of Princeton) learn fun facts and decorate pots to plant their cuttings to take home. Second Annual Mercer Indoor Row for the Cure, The Peddie School, 201 S. Main Street, Hightstown. The Second Annual Mercer Indoor Row for the Cure will take place on Sunday, March 11 at Peddie School. There are a number of events including team relays and a new 500 meter sprint. Winners of all individual events will receive a Pink Hammer!
